Back from a lovely holiday in Woolacombe with a cold. After hot, bright weather and sandy beaches as far as the eye can see it feels a bit glum at home though it’s still lovely and warm.

The garden flowers and meadows are all looking fine.

The bee hotels are now busy with leaf cutters. I’m fascinated watching this leafcutter bee busy layering petals and leaves. That’s a serious four season sleeping bag…
