Candy Floss

A photo of a bare tree in a meadow set against a sunrise.

Shall I compare February to a summer’s day? Whilst it is undeniably pleasant to bask in winter’s early retreat I fear these record breaking temperatures do not augur well.

A photo of a wetland nature reserve covered in mist and seeding bulrushes. Power lines stretch into a clear blue sky and distant sunrise overhead.

In the wetlands the bulrushes are seeding like candy floss and the tits flit from stem to stem taking their fill.
