I finished reading A Short History of Truth by Julian Baggini on the bus. I found it a lucid and consoling book for our times and appreciated its considered advocacy of epistemic virtues.

Further consolation this evening as the Guardian give us some posthumous measure wisdom from Hans Rosling to counter our tendency for drama. I look forward to reading the full book.

There is value in slow thinking.
