Home again for a wonderful, relaxing, loving week off.  The house is almost finished and looks better and better every time I visit.  I must have hundreds of photos of the house developments however so this time I decided to take some photos of a different theme – colour!  This is something that has been lacking from our monochromatic English summer and something that is abundant under the sunny Acquitaine skies, especially as Mum has been busy planting an array of flowers to go with the mature greenery of the established gardens.  Add the backdrop colours of the rolling French countryside, the stone of the house, the blue of the sky and the tempting turqoise of the pool and you have a stunning and exhilarating colour riot to brighten up the dullest of days.
