A cold and frosty start to the day. Thankfully that bitter easterly wind has gone, exfoliating the crust of winter away leaving a bright spring morning.

If the morning was crisp and cool, all pale greens and duck egg blue, the evening was golden with a warm glow not quite yet matched by the temperature.
